Jun 19, 2013 -- 10:58am

John Mayer has released a new single called "Paper Doll" . . . and there are two interesting things about it:  One, John got the weird lady from that "Prancercising" workout to appear in a video for it.  And Two, it references Taylor Swift's song, "Dear John", which is about their relationship.

Here it is...4 minutes and 31 seconds of weirdness to enjoy wink

Watermelon Flavored Oreos?! Why?

This was the story that had us saying, 'Don't mess with tradition' this morning

Nabisco just released a new, limited-time flavor for the summer.  And it is . . . WATERMELON-FLAVORED OREOS.  Yes, Watermelon Oreos.

They use the vanilla cookies, not the traditional chocolate ones.  And in between you get cream that's half pink, half green, and all watermelon-y.

Believe it or not, the early reviews online are pretty positive. The website JunkFoodGuy.com described it as, quote, "a watermelon taste like it had been blended with cream.  Imagine a watermelon ice cream."

They're $3 a package, but you can only get Watermelon Oreos at Target, and just for the summer. Can't we just stick with the classic? wink

There's more to the story here.

Check Out Shia LaBeouf Talking About Government Spying...5 Years Ago

Jun 11, 2013 -- 10:44am

The government spying scandal is obviously big news these days, but was actor Shia LaBeouf trying to warn us about it years ago?

This is the story Christie was talking about in the Sunny Celebrity Insider this morning. Back in 2008, he was on the "Tonight Show" to hype his movie "Eagle Eye".  And he told Jay Leno that an FBI consultant on the film told him one in five phone calls made are recorded and logged.

Shia said, quote, "And I laughed at him.  And then he played back a phone conversation I'd had two years prior to joining the picture . . . It's extremely creepy."

Here's the video of the interview:

Bill & Christie's Floriduh! Stories...The Naked Wedding Proposal

Christie and I had what we call 'The Mother of All Flori-Duh! Stories' this morning. See how many red flags you can count in this one..

Earlier this week, 22-year-old Thomas Edwards Junior of Maitland wanted to propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the night.  And for SOME reason, he thought it would be a good idea to GET TOTALLY NAKED for his proposal.

So, around 3:45 A.M., he went to her porch and stripped down.  Unfortunately, he went to the wrong house.  And the people who lived there saw him naked on their porch in the middle of the night, and called the cops.

When the cops got there, Thomas got MAD at them . . . and ended up SPITTING on one of them.  So the cops Tased him and arrested him.

He's been charged with indecent exposure, battery on an officer, and burglary.  He's still in jail, so, as far as we know, he hasn't been able to propose.

But really, how could she say no to a winner like him? wink

Here's the original story from the orlando paper.

Has The Smart Phone Killed The 3 Day Weekend?

We sure hope you had a nice long holiday weekend, but if you spent it checking email, a new report says there's nobody to blame but yourself!

In fact, according to one expert, the reason we check our smartphones when we're off is, quote, "many of us have an exaggerated sense of our own importance."  So we feel like we HAVE to check in on work when we're on vacation.

Laura Vanderkam is a work-life balance expert.  She says, quote, "Many of us have an exaggerated sense of our own importance" . . . so we feel like we HAVE to check in on work when we're on vacation.

Quote, "I can tell you that [after a three-day weekend], the Earth will still be revolving, whether you've checked your email or not."

Ouch! But she has a point...

According to the latest studies, the average person checks their smartphone 150 times a day, or approximately once every six minutes.  And 35% of people do at least some work on weekends.
